Richard Donner’s original script was supposed to have had Brainiac as a villain, which is far more compelling than a generic computer, but he was fired before filming began.
This movie…wasn’t good. I’m not sure where they were planning on it going, but it became more of a Richard Pryor vehicle than a Superman movie.
