Seven Best: Car Chases

It’s May, and in the Midwest that means it’s time for the Indianapolis 500. In honor of the big race, I’ll be covering the best car chases in cinema!! This of course means I’ll have to break the cardinal rule of “I don’t watch movies made before I was born,” but there aren’t enough recent entries to fill the list.

The month of April is dedicated to…Die Hard clones. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then John McTiernan should feel pretty good about himself. Movies about a hero being in the wrong place at the wrong time, having to take out an entire squadron of baddies, and eventually saving the day.

Well folks, this one is a doozy. In honor of the Oscars a few nights ago, and the amazing work of Roger Deakins, this month I’m going to cover the seven best Coen Brothers films.
