Bane is hoping to finish the job started by the League of Shadows—destroying Gotham in a purge, and killing Batman as an added bonus.
Rankings:
Probably when Batman saves the city and flies the bomb out over the harbor, btu the Talia reveal was aces.
Loved Anne Hathaway as Selina, JGL as “Robin” could have been anyone, and Bane is just another excuse for Tom Hardy to cover his face and mumble.
The Catwoman ears were a excellent touch.
Very Nolan-esque in its BWONGness.
Notes
I liked the addition of Bane, Talia, and Selina, but this one was missing something. Can’t quite put my finger on it.
And boy, oh boy, was it long. Could have easily trimmed the extra storylines and shaved 25 minutes off.
